MRX Ex "Pashtun Rat" is a Pre-deployment Exercise held on the SPTA. As part of the exercise a FARP was set up to practise "hot" refueling in the Field Many thanks to all the Guys running the FARP and the Aircrew for allowing access.
East midlands aeropark is located next to Castle Donnington (East Midlands) Airport. With a good viewing area over looking the main airport it has a growing collection of cold war aircraft.
South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum "AeroVenture" is located at Doncaster Lakeside on the site of the former RAF Doncaster. It is open Wednesdays to Sundays and well worth the visit to this small but very friendly museum.

I was lucky enough to be invited to join Cobham Aviation (Ex FRA Ltd) in a "Thursday war" where we simulated both Air and Ground Launched missiles for Navy ships in the South West approaches. Many Thanks to Mal Hammans and all the guys at Cobham for making me so welcome. Only one thing to add... I appologise for the sub-standard photos since taking pictures through the scratched windows proved to be very testing indeed!
